How does the monthly subscription work?
Your annual membership is divided into 12 equal monthly payments. When you sign up, you’ll be told the amount and the payment schedule in advance, so you know exactly what to expect.

Will I be notified before each payment?
When you join, GoCardless confirms your full payment schedule. Because the payments are for a fixed amount on 20th of each month, you won’t receive a separate reminder every month—but you will always be notified at least 3 working days in advance if anything changes (such as the amount, date or frequency).

Is it safe to pay by Direct Debit?
Yes. Payments are handled securely through GoCardless under the UK Direct Debit scheme. This means your details are protected, and all payments are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee.

What is the Direct Debit Guarantee?
This is a protection offered by all UK banks. It means you are entitled to a full and immediate refund if a payment is ever taken in error, and you’ll always be notified in advance of any changes to your payments.

Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes—at any time. You can cancel your Direct Debit through your bank or by contacting us, and no further payments will be taken.

What happens after the 12 months? If you do nothing, the payments will cease. However, we will send a reminder before the end of the 12 month period to you offering the option to either cancel or to renew.
